Posco, the Korean steel major is investing USD 1.5 billion in a brown field expansion at Bhagad village in Palsgaon Industrial Area in Maharashtra. The new unit will process steel and will produce galvanized steel sheets for automobile, electronic goods. The project is likely to go operational by July 2012
