Sona Alloys to set up Integrated Mini Steel Plant at Lonand in Satara district in Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of integrated mini steel plant of 3 Lakhs tonnes per annum of production capacity. The expansion details of the new unit are as follows.

Following will be the Product/By-product and production capacity:

1. Rebar/wire rods/structural ? 3,00,000 MT/annum

2. Granulated B.F. slag ? 91900 tonnes/annum

The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 3380 million.
