Kej Minerals to set up a DRI Pellet plant and a iron ore beneficiation plant in Taranagar in Sandur Taluk in Bellary district of Karnataka with an investment of Rs. 450 million. The project involves setting up of 0.15 mtpa capacity of pellet plant, 0.3 mtpa of beneficiation plant. Iron ore (3,00,000 tpa), limestone (3000 tpa) and Bentonite (3000 tpa) are to be consumed as raw materials.
