Kemrock Industries & Exports Ltd is setting up a carbon fibre unit in Vadodara with an investment of Rs. 2000 million. The
company has fine tuned its production facility to manufacture carbon fibres, where poisonous hydrocyanic gases are also
produced. The company has entered into an agreement with HAL, where it will supply 300 tonnes of carbon fibre for its aerospace
applications. Currently, the carbon fibre market is dominated by Japanese companies where the market is estimated at US$12 billion.
