The expansion will be carried out at 8 acres of land with an investment of Rs. 84 million. The project involves expanding Structural Rolling Mill (4800 TPA to 45,000 TPA) and setting up of Induction Furnace (50,400 TPA).
MSP Steel & Power to expand its steel plant at Jamgaon in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding Steel Plant (95,000 to 6,95,000 TPA) and Captive Power Plant (16 MW to 52 MW). The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 10700 million. Jayaswal Neco Industries to renovate & modernize steel plant at Siltara in Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding existing Blast Furnace (600 m3 to 750 m3) to enhance hot metal / pig iron production (6,50,000 TPA to 7,50,000 TPA). The existing blast furnace (600 m3) was established in 1996 and has outlived its life, and therefore, has proposed to renovate and modernize the same to achieve 750 m3 capacity. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 400 million. The expansion details of the new unit are as follows.
