Shree Parasnath Rerolling Mills to set up a integrated steel plant in Aushgram and Majura in Burdwan district of West Bengal with an investment of Rs. 6600 million. The project involves setting up of sponge iron plant of (3 x 100 tpd and 1 x 350 tpd), a mini blast furnace (1x350 cu.meter), a sinter plant, steel melt shop with induction furnace (2x15 T), an Electric Arc Furnace (1x40 T), continuous casting machine (3 strands), ferro alloys plant (1x 9MVA), captive power plant (12 MW WHRB, 15 MW AFBC) etc. and will produce sponge iron, pig iron, billets, rolled products and low ash metallurgical coke.

Jagdamba Fiscal Services is planning to set up a 3 X 12 MVA & 3 X 9 MVA Ferro Alloy Plant at Hetedoba, P.S.Faridpur in Burdwan district of West Bengal. The plant will have facility to manufacture 58,000 tpa of silico manganese and 56,500 tpa of ferro manganese.
