Vandana Global Ltd to expand its steel plant at Siltara

Vandana Global Ltd to expand its steel plant at Sonkara & Sondra villages in Siltara in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh with an investment of Rs. 1250 million. The project involves expanding Steel Plant by installation of Ferro Alloy Plant (36,000 TPA) alongwith alternated fuel based Captive Power Plant (25 MW). Manganese ore, Coke, Dolomite, Oxygen lancing pipes and Oxygen will be used as raw materials for the new Ferro Alloy Plant and AFBC boiler may use Rice husk and as fuel Kameshwar Alloys & Steels Pvt. Ltd to set up High Carbon Silico-Manganese Plant at Kusumidh Kameshwar Alloys & Steels Pvt. Ltd to set up High Carbon Silico-Manganese Plant at Kusumidh in Gola in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand with an investment of Rs. 98.17 million. The project involves setting up of High Carbon Silico-Manganese Plant with a capacity of (8,250 TPA, 5 MVA). It will consume Manganese ore (4,950 TPA), steam coal (1,568 TPA), LMC (223 TPA), quartz (135 TPA) and Dolomite (1,320 TPA) as raw materials.

Godawari Power & Ispat plans expansion of steel plant at Siltara

Godawari Power & Ispat plans expansion of steel plant at Siltara in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding steel by adding iron ore beneficiation plant of 10,00,000 tpa and a rolling mill of 3,00,000 tpa capacity, arc furnace of capacity 5000 tpa. The expansion will be carried out at its existing premises and will require 41 ha of land. The project will entail an investment of Rs. 2235.5 million.

IMI Abrasives to expand its steel shots and alloy casting unit at Urla

IMI Abrasives to expand its steel shots and alloy casting unit at Urla in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh with an investment of Rs. 8.44 million. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce steel shots, steel grit, alloy casting products and a new unit to produce ferro alloy (2000 tpa). It will use Manganese ore (4400 TPA), Quartzite (500 TPA), Slag (160 TPA), Coke (1400 TPA), Electrode paste (70 TPA) as raw materials to produce 2000 tonnes of ferro alloy.
