Ghansai Ispat is planning to set up a mini steel plant in Hiradahallu village in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 1320 million. Coal is likely to be imported from Indonesia. The plant will produce sponge iron and will have a capacity of 90,000 tpa and will use coal and dolomite. Iron Ore beneficiation plant will have a capacity of 300,000 tpa. The project also involves setting up of a captive power plant of 12 MW (WHRB 6 MW, 6 MW FBC).
